SPECIAL MEETING OF THE

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION

March 16, 2004

 

Chairman Herfert called to order the special meeting of the West Covina Community Development Commission at 6:30 pm in the City Manager’s Conference Room at City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue.

 

ROLL CALL Chairman Herfert, Vice Chairman Miller

Commissioners Hernandez, Sanderson, Wong

Others Present: Pasmant, Alvarez-Glasman, Chung, Fields

 

PUBLIC COMMENT ON ITEMS ON THE AGENDA

Bill McIntyre, developer, reviewed his work over the past two years to develop the Citrus/Workman site and that he was prepared to purchase the property and start construction within six months.

 

CLOSED SESSION Chairman Herfert commenced the closed session at 6:35 pm to discuss the following matter:

CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS

Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8

Re Citrus/Workman site:

Property: 205-245 N. Citrus Street

2504-2539 E. Workman Avenue

Agency Negotiators: Pasmant, Alvarez-Glasman, Chung, Lee

Negotiating Parties: McIntyre Companies

Under Negotiation: Price and terms of sale of real property

 

The following two items, although scheduled for discussion, were held over until a future meeting:

CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — EXISTING LITIGATION

Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a):

CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS
