It is recommended that the City Council accept the bid of Trans-West Network Solutions in the amount of $15,006 per year to provide maintenance of the City Telephone System for a five (5) year period, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the contract.

It is recommended that the City Council accept the bid of International Pavement Solutions, Inc. in the amount of $23,750 submitted at the bid opening on January 19, 2004, and authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer and City Clerk to execute the contract.

I. Request of Darrell Hackett, Project Manager of Sunset Plaza Apartments
That parking adjacent to the front entrance to the apartment complex be limited to one hour be implemented.

Traffic Committee Recommendation:
That parking at the front entrance to the apartment complex at 1234 West Cameron Avenue be limited to one hour from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. be implemented to accommodate three vehicles.

II. Request of Emma Fischbeck, President of the Home Owners Association
That the existing three hour permit only parking be amended to allow overnight parking with permit.

Traffic Committee Recommendation:
That the existing three hour permit only parking at 130 South Barranca Street be amended to allow overnight parking with permit as follows "3 Hour Limit Parking With Permit From 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m" and "No Parking Except With Permit From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m."

III. Request of Carolyn, West Covina Resident
That U-turns be prohibited on southbound Citrus Street at Hillside Drive

Traffic Committee Recommendation:
That U-turns on southbound Citrus Street at Hillside Drive not be restricted.

5) Miscellaneous - Community Development Commission

a) Consideration of a Resolution Making the Finding that a Project Area Committee Need Not be Formed in Relation to the Proposed Amendments to the Existing Redevelopment Plan for the Merged Redevelopment Project Area
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the following resolution:

  1. Approve the monthly pay range of Assistant City Clerk from $4,892 - $6,604 to $5,743 - $7,753.
  2. Amend the related resolution implementing the proposed revised salary range for the Assistant City Clerk classification as follows:
