A. OTHER MATTERS OR ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
This is the time when any member of the public may bring a matter to the attention of the Commission that is within the scope of duties assigned to the Commission. The Ralph M. Brown Act limits the Planning Commission and staff's ability to respond to comments on non-agendized matters at the time such comments are made. Thus, your comments may be agendized for a future meeting or referred to staff. The Commission may discuss or ask questions for clarification, if desired, at this time.
By policy of the Commission, Oral Communications at this time on the agenda is limited to a total of 15 minutes. Persons who are not afforded the opportunity to speak at this time may do so under Item E. later on the agenda.

REQUEST: An extension of Conditional Use Permit No. 526, Precise Plan No. 870 and Variance No. 1034 to October 12, 2001.

HEARING PROCEDURE:

NEGATIVE DECLARATION
APPLICANT: City of West Covina
LOCATION: Cameron Park (1305 East Cameron Avenue)
REQUEST: An amendment to the Cameron Park Master Plan to accommodate a community center/gymnasium, up to 30,000 square feet in size, at Cameron Park, to be constructed on the site of the existing Cameron Park Youth Center.

CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION
APPLICANT: Marcan Corporation DBA "La Candelaria Grill"
LOCATION: 1200 S. Sunset Avenue
REQUEST: The project consists of a conditional use permit to allow the on-sale general service of beer and wine and live (musical) entertainment in conjunction with an existing 1,752 square foot restaurant. The project is located in the "Neighborhood Commercial" (N-C) Zone.
