Pre-School Program (Age 3-5 Years)
West Covina's licensed preschool program is designed to provide a quality Pre-school program to the children in West Covina. We provide a safe and nurturing environment designed to foster the physical and cognitive development and emotional, and social well being for your child/ren. In addition, we believe that the children in our care will develop a positive concept of themselves as worthwhile individuals and as able learners. Program content will include individual and group learning activities, cognitive development, snacks, nap time, art, and crafts. Palm View Pre-school

Hour of operation: Monday thru Friday, 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., excluding city-observed holidays.
Fees are as follows:

|Part-Time (3 days or less)||$135.00 per week|
|Full-Time (4 days or more)||$150.00 per week|
|Late payment fee||$25.00|
An administrative fee of 3% will be added to each transaction regardless of form of payment. .
Fees are due on Friday for the upcoming week or weeks. Monday until 6:00 p.m. is given as a grace period. On Tuesday, in addition to your tuition, there will be a $25.00 late payment fee. Cash, credit cards, checks, and money orders are accepted. Please make payments payable to THE CITY OF WEST COVINA.
Parents are advised that their payments must be current in order to keep your children in the program. If weekly tuition becomes delinquent more than 7 days, your children will be dropped from the program.
The City of West Covina strives for all children to be included in programs. Should you need to request reasonable accommodations for your child please see the below information to fill out a request form for our programs and for information on eligibility requirements. Careship (Day care Subsidy)
The application period is currently closed. The next application period will begin the first week in December. For more information please contact the Community Services Department at (626) 939-8430.
The Careship Program is funded by the City of West Covina Community Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The program’s primary purpose is to provide financial assistance toward the payment of the cost of City of West Covina Community Services childcare sites. Applicants eligible for the program are West Covina residents. Eligibility is determined on an income basis. Only children of West Covina residents enrolled full-time in a licensed childcare facility will be considered for the program. Ongoing weekly participation is required to stay enrolled in this program. Should weekly attendance become inconsistent, you may be removed from this program.
