Today is Giving Tuesday, the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving which is internationally recognized as a day for charitable giving. As part of this campaign, we encourage the public to donate to the Department's nonprofit partner, the Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation (ACF).

The ACF has established several programs to help animals brought to our animal care centers most in need. Among other efforts, this includes combatting animal cruelty by funding officer training, safety equipment and supplies, and the rescue and support of abused animals. Your Giving Tuesday gift will help fund one of the many programs that our communities and animals rely on.
