Day Care Programs (K - 5th Grade)
West Covina's licensed Day Care programs provide quality before and after school day care to the children in West Covina. We provide a safe and nurturing environment designed to promote physical, emotional, and social well being your child(ren). In addition, we believe that the children in our care will develop a positive concept of themselves as worthwhile individuals and as able learners. Participants enjoy recreational activities, snacks, homework time, arts, crafts, and off-site excursions. Enrollment onsite is required to fill out necessary state licensing paperwork. Fees are as follows:

An administrative fee of 3% is included in each fee regardless of form of payment.
Fees are due on Friday for the upcoming week or weeks. Monday until 6:00 p.m. is given as a grace period. On Tuesday, in addition to your tuition, there will be a $25.00 late payment fee. Cash, credit cards, checks, and money orders are accepted. Please make payments payable to THE CITY OF WEST COVINA.
Parents are advised that their payments must be current in order to keep your children in the program. If weekly tuition becomes delinquent more than 7 days, your children will be dropped from the program.

Careship (Day care Subsidy)
The application period is currently closed. The next application period will begin the first week in December. For more information please contact the Community Services Department at (626)919-6966.
The Careship Program is funded by the City of West Covina Community Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The program’s primary purpose is to provide financial assistance toward the payment of the cost of City of West Covina Community Services childcare sites. Applicants eligible for the program are West Covina residents. Eligibility is determined on an income basis. Only children of West Covina residents enrolled full-time in a licensed childcare facility will be considered for the program. Ongoing weekly participation is required to stay enrolled in this program. Should weekly attendance become inconsistent, you may be removed from this program.
