NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 6, 2015 the Audit Committee was created and membership includes the City Manager, the Finance Director, the City Treasurer, two City Council Members, and two members of the public.
Any West Covina resident, 18 years of age or older and a registered voter interested in serving on the Audit Committee is encouraged to apply. Applications can be obtained from the City Clerk's Office at City Hall, Room 317 or on the City's website (Audit Committee). Please submit completed applications to the City Clerk's Office by 5:00 p.m. on March 8, 2016.
The City Council will consider all applications and tentatively select an appointee at the April 5, 2016 City Council meeting.The vacancies shall be filled by appointment by a majority vote of the West Covina City Council. The appointments will fill a one-year term and a two-year term to allow for the staggered terms thereafter.
