The Crime Free Multi-Housing Program is a, state-of-the-art, crime prevention program designed to reduce crime, drugs, and gangs in apartment properties.
The program consists of 3 phases that must be completed under the supervision of the West Covina Police Department. Property managers can become individually certified after completing training in each phase and the property becomes certified upon successful completion of all three phases.
The seminar on June 15th will be for Phase I certification. This program is offered FREE of charge however there is limited seating available. RSVP to Erica Taylor with the West Covina Police Department to reserve your seat: (626) 939-8549.
The anticipated benefits are reduced police calls for service, a more stable resident base, and reduced exposure to civil liability.
Completion of this seminar by complex managers qualifies the complex for program participation and all related benefits. Following completion of the seminar, managers must call their Crime Free Multi-Housing Program Liaison to arrange for full certification of your complex.
