Ready for a good ole’ fashion football rivalry West Covina? On Friday, September 10, 2016, West Covina High School and South Hills High School will face off at 7:00 p.m. at the Covina Valley District Field to see who the King of Cameron is.
Since both schools reside on Cameron Avenue, the friendly rivalry has come to be known as the King of Cameron Game. For many years these schools have faced off against each other for pure bragging rights for the year. Since 2014, the City of West Covina has also celebrated this iconic rivalry with the presentation of a perpetual trophy given to the winning team to be kept along with bragging rights for the whole year. The trophy will be awarded by the Mayor to the winning team at the end of the game.
