The City of West Covina and SCORE are hosting a “Branding & Website Strategy on Your Organization” workshop on Thursday, September 22, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the West Covina Council Chambers (located at 1444 W. Garvey Avenue South, West Covina, CA 91790).  Mr. Mark Raymond will provide advice to help you brand your business and optimize your website strategies.

Mr. Mark Raymond is President of Luminy’s, a company that provides cloud and web-based services for businesses to help streamline and simplify office technology. Mr. Raymond is a seasoned marketing and technology executive with expertise in WordPress, search engine optimization, and communication strategy. Before Luminys, Mr. Raymond co-founded a telecom company and served as the Vice President of Marketing for an internet company that was acquired by Yahoo. He was a Program Manager for Phoenix Technologies in Silicon Valley where he managed a new technology development and served on several industry boards.

Mr. Raymond’s presentation will cover topics such as how branding effects design decisions and choosing a look for your organization. In terms of website technology, he will be covering the usage of WordPress, best practices to maintain and update your website, incorporating social media, and so much more.
