Raise money for your business using Crowdfunding. The City of West Covina and SCORE are hosting a “How to Plan & Run an Effective Crowdfunding Campaign: Raise Money & Get New Customers at the Same Time” workshop on Thursday, November 10, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the West Covina Council Chambers (located at 1444 W. Garvey Avenue South, West Covina, CA 91790).
The workshop will be presented by Mr. Robert Kovacev. He has worked with start-up companies and established businesses assisting them with marketing and finance issues and preparing them to obtain angel financing. Taking advantage of popular major crowdfunding platforms, Mr. Kovacev has worked with clients to mount crowdfunding campaigns. He is a recent retiree who worked in a multi-faceted career as a technologist, and international marketing executive, and a university professor of Entrepreneurship and Finance.
Crowdfunding is another way to get your business opportunity in front of more interested parties who want to help you grow your business. Therefore Mr. Kovacev’s presentation will cover topics such as the similarities and difference between for-profit and non-profit campaigns. In addition, he will cover how to organize, plan, launch, and manage a successful campaign. This workshop is a great opportunity for those who are interested in finding an alternative way to raise money for their business.
