WEST COVINA, CA –The City of West Covina and SCORE are hosting a “Successful Selling Techniques” workshop on Thursday, April 27, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the West Covina Council Chambers (located at 1444 W. Garvey Avenue South, West Covina, CA 91790).

The workshop will be presented by Mr. Carl Woodard, a SCORE Mentor. Mr. Woodard’s business career included marketing, managing and selling many of the country’s largest food brands, including Hunt Foods: Hunt’s Tomato sauce, Swiss Miss cocoa, Wesson Oil, Orville Redenbacher’s Gourmet and many more. Mr. Woodard’s presentation will demonstrate why a strong sales approach is a critical part of your company’s marketing plan and your future success. Whether your sales force is large, small, or a single person, you will want to sign up for this workshop to learn and apply successful techniques to your sales effort.

Mr.Woodard will help business owners and entrepreneurs learn techniques, which will help sell their products in multiple advertising platforms. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to improve their selling techniques and how to develop and learn the successful mindset of selling. Business owners and entrepreneurs will learn how to prepare a sale, how to approach a sale, how to handle objection, how to close, and follow-up after a sale.
