The City of West Covina will be participating in the Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count on the evening of Tuesday, January 24, 2017 starting at 8:00 p.m.
The information collected through the Count is important as it helps to inform on the state of homelessness in LA, bring vital resources into the community, and increases community engagement.
The meeting point will be at Cameron Park Community Center located at 1305 East Cameron Avenue in West Covina.
After a brief orientation, beginning at 8 pm, volunteers will deploy from this site.
Youth 17 years and younger may volunteer to work at the deployment site, but cannot participate as street count volunteers.
If interested, you can get more information or register to volunteer at www.theycountwillyou.org
