The City of West Covina, in partnership with West Covina Youth Soccer, will hold a grand opening celebration for its new soccer complex on Friday, October 6, 2017.  The event will take place at Orangewood Park, located at 1615 West Merced Avenue.

The celebration will run from 6pm-10pm with the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony from 6:30pm-7:30pm.  The event is free and open to the public and will include photo opportunities, entertainment, and more.  

This project was made possible by park dedication funds and a United States Soccer Foundation grant.  The new soccer complex includes two lighted soccer fields, a playground, new restrooms, a concessions facility, a walking trail, picnic tables and shade structures, as well as additional parking. This will be the first soccer complex in the City of West Covina and it will be home to the West Covina Youth Soccer program.
