Small Business Saturday – “Shop Small!”
WEST COVINA – It’s that time of year again! The City of West Covina is participating in Small Business Saturday for the third time! This year Small Business Saturday will be held on November 24, 2018. The City encourages the community to shop small and support their local small businesses. With the holidays coming up, Small Business Saturday is the perfect day for small businesses and consumers throughout West Covina to participate in #shopsmall!
Small Business Saturday, started by American Express, is held the Saturday after Thanksgiving and is designed to promote and support small businesses throughout the United States. Small Business Saturday not only seeks participation from small businesses, it also encourages the community to "shop local" and "shop small".
The City of West Covina understands the important contributions our local small businesses make to our community. We encourage you to participate in Small Business Saturday and to spread the word. Make sure to support your favorite local small businesses and share on your social media accounts using the hashtags #shopsmall, #smallbizsat, and #westcovinacity!
