The City of West Covina and SCORE are hosting a “Not Your Father’s Accounting Course” workshop on Thursday, January 31, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the West Covina Council Chambers (located at 1444 W. Garvey Avenue South, West Covina, CA 91790). Mr. Vince Turner will share with attendees the basics of accounting.
The workshop will be presented by Mr. Vince Turner, an adjunct instructor at Chaffey College in the Department of Business & Applied Technology. He has taught accounting, business, and information technology classes for the last ten years. He holds a Masters of Science in Business Administration and is a certified Information Systems Auditor. He has taught thousands of students and his goal is to always make complex subjects easy to understand.
Ever dread the thought of learning accounting because it can get so complicated? Well, Mr. Vince Turner will present a workshop that will make accounting easy to understand in a simple and fun way, and help you manage your business profitably. During the workshops, he will guide you through the basics of accounting and introduce balance sheets, income statements debits and credits, and more.
